Our History
Agrinergy Ltd. was founded in the UK in 2003 by Ben Atkinson and Robert Taylor who both have solid experience in emerging and commodity markets trading.
Agrinergy has focused on CDM project development and implementation and the initial projects developed by Agrinergy originated from the agro-processing sector – a sector which continues to be important in Agrinergy’s project portfolio. The CDM experience and knowledge gained in this area was soon leveraged into other sectors and project types and today Agrinergy is managing a portfolio of over 70 projects from a wide range of
industry sectors using many different technologies.
From the beginning Agrinergy has also focused on marketing and transacting the developed CERs and has established a wide network of both corporate and governmental buyers of carbon credits in the major credit demand markets. Utilising its growing and diversified portfolio the company has structured many successful carbon transactions.

| July 2008: | Agrinergy PTE Ltd., Singapore was established and made the new headquarter and holding company of the Agrinergy Group |
| November 2008: | RWE purchased a 50% stake in Agrinergy |
